The GeoAmida Handheld Terminal is designed for mobile ticketing / fare collection and inspection across several transit modes including Road and Rail transport systems. GeoAmida empowers field officers to achieve new levels of efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. GeoAmida inspects, validates and processes contact/contactless smart cards, calculates the required fare, deducts the correct fare from stored value or stored rides on the card and re-encodes the remaining value or number of rides to the card or validates a transit pass on the card.

The multiprotocol communication channel allows smooth data transfer between the depot computer, station computer and/or central computer system. Fare tables, Auto-load and Hot lists can be downloaded in a secure manner to update the device for the next shift use. Field officers login and logout with each shift for direct accountability of any money collected and transactions performed. The data captured on the field can be fed into a traffic management system for analysing traffic patterns, optimize routes and monitoring defaulters.
